Sony Announces Availibilty of 80 Gig PS3

Posted in Playstation 3 News, Editorial by Mike on the August 8th, 2007

Sony Computer Entertainment America announced the availibility of the new 80 gig PS3 at online and brick&mortar stores. For all you millions of Sonytes who need 20 more gig and Motorstorm rather than $100 off, I suppose this is great news.

This model is designed to appeal to the gamer who wants to play online and who doesn’t like money.

I know I am being a little bit negative but this irritates me. 20 more gig is not a substantial enough storage increase to make anyone call this a significant upgrade. And the forced game is also annoying. Is there anyone who wouldn’t rather have a 60 gig unit and choose their own game and have $40 left over? Anyone? Please, if I am wrong, let me know.
